Hi, I’m Jeff.

I’m definitely the easygoing one in our group. I’m not the one building the itinerary or stressing about what’s next. I’m usually just along for the ride, and honestly, that works pretty well for me.

Once we get somewhere, though, I start paying attention. I ask a lot of questions. I notice random things. Sometimes it’s the view. Sometimes it’s something weird or funny that probably wasn’t supposed to be a highlight, but ends up being one anyway.

I’m less interested in just checking off the big sights and more interested in what a place actually feels like. What do people do day to day? What’s normal here that isn’t normal back home? How do things work? That kind of stuff.

So yeah, I might not be the planner, but once we’re there, I’m all in. I’m usually the one pointing things out, asking “wait, why is that like that?” and making sure we don’t take everything too seriously.

And if nothing else, I’ll at least make sure we laugh about it later.
